Creating fire-safe buildings to protect the people living and working inside is an increasingly important issue. With Rockpanel A2 we developed an exterior cladding board which meets the European fire class A2-s1, d0 (non-combustible according to national building regulations) when fixed on a metal sub-frame with rivets. When using Rockpanel boards you can create façades with a high level of fire safety with a broad range of aesthetic finishes.

If you are looking for a truly unique façade with a personal touch, you have the option to engrave Rockpanel boards with your own creative design – corporate logos, text, graphic images – the only limit is your creativity! Designs can be made with a CNC router on a 10mm thick board (maximum engraving depth of 2mm). A further advantage of engraving on Rockpanel boards is that the engraved parts don’t need any additional protection.

Rockpanel boards can be curved and bent easily to create amazing facades.

Note: Rockpanel does not recommend bending boards on an aluminium sub-construction. It is the responsibility of the engineer to decide whether it can be done tension-free with a steel sub-construction.

Rockpanel boards are treated with a high quality water-based coating that keeps their appearance, colour and finish for years to come. The ProtectPlus layer gives extra protection against UV and graffiti.

The performance of the Rockpanel Woods boards after a weathering test of 3.000 hours and 5.000 hours according ISO 105 A02:

Our boards are easy to handle on the building site, unlike many other materials, and therefore quicker and easier to install.

Our boards are not affected by fluctuations in humidity or temperature and are therefor very dimensionally stable.

We offer the possibility to deliver custom sized boards for you, adjusted to your project requirements*.

As a result of our innovative production process, the board can now be delivered in:

• all lengths between 1700 and 3050 mm and
• a width of 1200 or 2500 mm.
• note: Textured Stones only available in 1200mm width and 3050mm and 2500mm length.
